Ministry Outreach Programs


Christian Outreach Program

Jacki London Ministries, Inc. New Ministers' Class is held annually for 10 weeks.  This class makes an appeal to new ministers and/or those interesting in obtaining information on how one should conduct themselves in ministry.  Areas of concentration are: Preparing and Presenting a Sermon; Homilectics; Hermenuetics; World Relgions; Overview in Systematic Theology;Theological Vocabulary; Letters of Paul; 12 Pivotol Points of the Old Testament; How To Perform Weddings; How To Conduct Eulogies; The Eucharist;and Prison Ministry. Upon completion of this class, students  have a formal graduation and reception.

War Brides in Red is a formal annual event that honors 6 outstanding women, 3 outstanding young girls, and 1 outstanding mother across Southeastern North Carolina. The proceeds from this event are allocated to Duplin County Domestic Violence Shelter.

The Adult Basic Education Program is a program that prepares adults for basic education through Craven Community College. This program does not only prepare adults for education but also assist in finding employment and building spirital formation. The students in this program's ultimate goal is to receive their General Education Diploma.

The annual "G.O.D. (Global Outreach Day), the annual "Hair Cut Drive" is conducted in Duplin County for the purpose of issuing free pampers to young mothers who confronted with the economical crisis and rendering hair care services for (but not limited to) the senior citizens of Duplin County. This event is followed by the Men's Fashion Show.

Many outreach programs have been established through Jacki London Ministries such as:

    • Color Me Professional
      A program which makes an appeal to young adult women (12–21 years of age) who desire to undergo basic training and preparation to project a professional image that will give them the incentive to pursue basic clerical employment. Also will enable them to reach their maximum potential in their personal development.
        
    • Operation Gift
      A program that is designed to assist those who need financial assistance with their utility expenses, transportation to and from medical appointment, food accommodations, etc. Clients are assessed by taking applications and reviewing the information given. The ability to assist clients will be based upon the hardship of the case and approval will be determined by client's previous visits with other program that assist in such manner.

       
  • Pillar of Fire Worship Center 
    "It's not a church—it's a fire" Sunday Morning services 11:30 a.m. and Bible study Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.

In addition, Jacki London has helped organized annual classes for The New Ministers Protocol.
